Cincinnati’s Premier Handbell Ensemble

Queen City Bronze is a professional, community handbell ensemble based in Cincinnati, Ohio. The group was founded in October of 2008 under the direction of Jennifer Cauhorn. This group of auditioned ringers was formed to increase the understanding and appreciation of one of the world’s oldest and most versatile art forms.

Since its inception, Queen City Bronze has performed throughout the tri-state including concerts with the Cincinnati Pops, Cincinnati Men’s Chorus, Blue Ash Symphony and for the Handbell Musicians of America Area 5 Spring Festival and Music Teachers National Association. QCB has also presented numerous workshops and learning events in the region.

Our concerts offer an eclectic mix of musical styles representing jazz, folk, classical, spiritual, and original compositions.  We have added to handbell repertoire through the commissioning of three new works for advanced handbell choirs including arrangements of Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the jazz standard Fly Me to the Moon, and a brand new original composition in honor of our 10-year anniversary.

Through community engagement, professional performances and education, QCB intends to leave a unique musical stamp on Cincinnati and the surrounding area.
